Welcome to TAPS - The Arts Project Syracuse, where we believe in the transformative power of the arts. Our mission is to provide access to high-quality arts education for the under-resourced youth of the Syracuse community.
At TAPS, we understand the importance of providing our youth with a well-rounded education that includes exposure to the arts. That's why we partner with organizations like the Boys and Girls Club and the YWCA to bring teaching artists into their facilities to work with the kids.
But we don't just send any teaching artist into these programs. We make sure that they have hands-on training to ensure that they have an understanding of what life is like for the kids in Syracuse NY. It's important that the teachers reflect the diversity of the community they serve.
We believe that by providing our youth with access to high-quality arts education, we can help them develop critical thinking skills, build self-confidence, and foster a sense of community. The arts have the power to bring people together and create positive change in our world and TAPS is honored to be able to bring arts education to kids who may otherwise not have access.
So whether you're a student looking to explore your creative side or an adult looking for a way to give back to your community, TAPS has something for you. Join us in our mission to make the arts accessible to all members of our community.
