The Arts Project Syracuse provides fully funded transformative arts education to under-resourced youth in Syracuse, New York.
The TAPS model focuses on finding qualified Syracuse artists and art teachers and train them with local and national artists to best serve students in the Syracuse area.
Vision Statement
The Arts Project Syracuse was founded to provide all teachers, technology, and tools necessary for students to excel artistically. TAPS is creating a future in which every under-resourced student, from K through 12th grade, in the city of Syracuse can pursue artistic studies. Our goal is to create a supportive space for kids and young adults to experience the joy, camaraderie, self-expression, development, and discipline that come with a life enhanced by creative arts, ultimately providing options for after school programming.
